Position Overview
Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced HRIS/ADP Workforce Now Project Specialist to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is a contract project position and requires an individual who can quickly assess complexity, clean up legacy processes, and drive structure in a challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a functional expert in ADP Workforce Now, with a strong focus on HRIS configuration.
- Support payroll-related projects (knowledge required; will not be processing payroll).
- Support 401(k) project work, including systems alignment and data integrity.
- Lead cleanup of historical, paper-based HR and payroll processes that have since been layered with multiple applications.
- Analyze and support upcoming FLSA overtime projection initiatives.
- Evaluate current HR/payroll systems and processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
- Partner closely with leadership and stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
- Document processes and recommendations as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on ADP Workforce Now experience (required).
- Strong HRIS configuration experience (required).
- Solid payroll knowledge (no payroll processing responsibilities).
- Experience supporting or working on 401(k) or benefits-related system projects.
- Proven ability to step into complex, messy environments and bring structure quickly.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up time.
Required Work Hours
- 100% onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

- Salary: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour (DOE)
